Do you think…?
Calling someone something like; Hon, dear, darling, peach, etc. is condescending? I’ve used ‘Peach’ quite a bit with a few of my watches on fa, never once did I say it in a condescending manner. I just think my watchers are cute and peachy. Real sweethearts if I dare say. ‘Dear’ and ‘darling’ tend to be reserved for loved ones/close friends (at least in my case) but even with that being the case I’ve never been personally offended when someone would outright call me ‘hon’ or ‘sweetie’ so long as the sentence itself didn’t sound obnoxious, or if I knew for a fact said person wasn’t a complete jerk…anyways, just curious because I’ve herd, quite a few times that people just outright hate these uh…pet names? idk if thats how you put it, but I know it peeves quite a bit of people…
